Responsibilities:

• Lead and train team members within your department
• Ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Oversee inventory management and merchandising
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
• Coordinate with ordering, receiving and stocking of product
• Monitor sales trends and report to store leadership
• Enforce safety and store policies

Requirements:

• Previous retail or department lead experience preferred (hardware experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the day
• Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) proficiency

Garden, Farm and Ranch Department Lead

Fishlake Lumber is a well-established ACE Hardware and Lumber store also providing IFA garden farm and ranch needs for the community. We are seeking an experienced and proactive department lead to manage the day-to-day operations of the garden, farm and ranch department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and train team members within your department
• Ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Oversee inventory management and merchandising
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department
• Monitor sales trends and report to store leadership
• Enforce safety and store policies
• Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of farm and ranch supplies
• Maintain product knowledge to support the needs of farmers, ranchers, and rural customers.

Requirements:

• Experience in retail, farm supply, or agricultural services
• Strong communication skills
• Friendly, helpful attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet throughout the day
• Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) proficiency
• Understanding of farm, ranch, and livestock products and operations

Yard Associate
Full-Time

Join Our Team at ACE Hardware!

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload lumber and building materials for customers and delivery trucks
• Assist customers with locating and selecting materials
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if necessary)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a lumber yard or construction supply setting is a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified)
